RIDE AND HAVE FUN is our motto at Cowboy HOG Chapter. The chapter officers work together to plan great eat and meets, activities and events in hopes of finding something that “revs up your Harley Engine” We are sponsored by Cowboy Harley-Davidson and will celebrate our 20th anniversary in July 2008. Our sponsoring dealer is very supportive of the chapter and its members which we greatly appreciate. For new members we offer group riding and new member orientation classes. In our group riding class we provide you with the knowledge of riding in a group along with a short ride to show you “how it’s done”. In the new member orientation class we provide you with information about you’re membership benefits with HOG and the Cowboy HOG Chapter. Both classes are designed to help our new members get their “engines broke in” and make your membership an enjoyable one. Our road captains are trained according to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to help ensure we have safe rides. Safety procedures and signals are reviewed before each ride by our safety officer, head road captain or assistant head road captain. The Ladies of Harley (LOH) sponsors the monthly mileage contest for the chapter members. Monthly awards are given to the top male and female riders and passengers. LOH monthly dinners are the fourth (4th) Thursday of each month at a local restaurant. The LOH also sponsors rides and events each quarter. Our chapter meetings are the third (3rd) Saturday of each month unless otherwise indicated on the calendar located on this website. Cowboy HOG Chapter 4974 has many members who are currently serving or have served in our Armed Forces. We salute each of our Veterans for their service. We are proud to support our troops and have dedicated a page to our chapter members who have family members currently serving stateside and abroad. We pray for their safe return. Thanks to our webmasters you can view the photo page and see the fun we have. Some of the events even have video for your viewing pleasure.
